How much can a PDF be compressed?
Typical savings are 40–80% on document PDFs with embedded images. Text-only PDFs may compress less (10–30%). Already-optimized PDFs may not compress further — in that case we return the original.
Will text stay selectable?
Yes. We only re-encode raster images; text, vector graphics, bookmarks, and hyperlinks are preserved.
Are my PDFs stored anywhere?
No. Files are processed in a system temp folder and deleted immediately after the response is sent.
Is there a file-size limit?
